KMH Film was founded in 2003 by university students studying to be film directors and producer Ferenc Pusztai. In the short time that has elapsed since then, KMH Film has completed three highly appreciated feature films, while also making commercials, several short films and documentaries.

Ágnes Kocsis’ first feature film Fresh Air received several Hungarian and international acknowledgements and awards. It was selected in the official competition section of the Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes International Film Festival and was nominated for the European Discovery Award of the EFA.

Attila Gigor’s first feature film The Investigator was made as an international co-production, and won several awards at the 39th Hungarian Film Week and was also selected for the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival where it was awarded a certificate of merit from the International Jury and the FFIC Jury’s Don Quijote Prize. The Investigator has been shown by Hungarian and international cinemas since the Autumn of 2008 with great success and lately was voted to be the best Hungarian Film of the decade.
